Product description (Boson Plate): 

Boson Plate's weight plates are laser-cut, surface-treated, triple-curved steel plates designed to be used with weight vests for training. The Boson Plates are designed to work for both women and men.

What is called a "triple curved" design means that the plates are bent over 3 axes ensuring a good fit and helps to keep the plate in place when installed correctly in a weight vest.

This helps the user keep the vest and plate in place during a lot of exercise.

The Boson Plates are designed as part of Tardigrade Tactical's Higgs-Boson weight vest system.

We started by designing the system from the inside with the shape and size of the plate and afterwards designed the “Tardigrade Tactical - Higgs Plate Carrier” weight vest to hold the plates.

The plates have been tested by both women and men to ensure that the plates fit many different types and sizes of persons.

The size of the plate is similar to a "medium" "SAPI plate" and fits most plate carriers and vests in the market in the size "small-medium". The plates, of course, provide no ballistic protection.

Tactical - The Higgs Plate Carrier is part of Tardigrade Tactical's Higgs-Boson weight vest system.

Higgs Plate Carrier is designed specifically to hold “Tardigrade Tactical - Boson Plates”.

The Higgs Plate Carrier is a very ergonomic plate carrier with a very low profile design, with the possibility of much adjustment, even when using the system at a lot of movement such as running.

The shoulder straps have built-in Paracord 550 loops, just like the cummerbund has built-in webbing loops that you can easily grab during or after a hard workout, where you might have sore hands.

The inside of the vest is made of 520E Durastretch fabric that increases comfort even when exercising in bare upper body!

The bottom is reinforced with durable webbing which increases the durability of the plate carrier.

The Plate Carrier has lots of female Velcro for mounting name tags, logos, badges, numbers etc.

The elastic cummerbund ensures that the vest sits close to the body, which increases stability and allows heavy breathing during training.

The cummerbund comes in two different sizes: size 1: (small-medium, which fits most women and men up to about 70 kg) and Size 2: (medium-large, which fits most over 70 kg).

Tactical - The Higgs Plate Carrier comes with foam inserts that are placed inside the pocket, between the weight plate and the body.
