Scho-Ka-Kola - Koffein Chokolade

In one case of Scho-Ka-Kola theres a total of 16 pieces of chocolate (100g) containing a total of 200mg caffeine. It equals 2 cups of coffee, then you eat 4 pieces it equals an espresso, 8 pieces equals 1 cup of coffee.

It is available in 2 versions, Dark chocolate (with at least 58% cocoa) and Milk chocolate (with at least 30% cocoa), both versions contain the same amount of caffeine.

The ingredients are as follows: Cocoa, Colan Powder and Coffee.

The product is perfect for people who are on the go and who just need to be quiked up a bit and at the same time is a little hungry. Eg. a walk in the woods, drivers driving long distances, in the gym to get extra energy, Monday morning where it is all a bit tedious after a nice long weekend, to the soldier who needs extra energy. It is really only the imagination that sets the limit.

Description

Scho-Ka-Kola was designed way back in 1935 as an energy chocolate for athletes and thus not designed directly for soldiers. In 1936 for the Olympic Games in Berlin, the product first saw the light of day, which was a great success.

After the Olympic Games, the German army took Scho-Ka-Kola into their field battles as Scho-Ka-Kola is the perfect complement to a soldier. Chocolate contains lots of carbohydrates, as well as caffeine could help keep the soldiers fresh and the product was compact therefore easy to transport. It was known that the soldiers who had the hardest in the German army, during the Second World War, got the most lucrative. The German Air Force, the Kriegsmarine and the German Army therefore received Scho-Ka-Kola.

After World War II, the factory that produced Scho-Ka-Kola was bombed, yet they opened a new factory in the early 1950s, focusing on the automotive industry and outdoor life.

Fun Fact: Scho-Ka-Kola has also been featured in the computer game Call Of Duty.

Dark Scho-Ka-Kola (Red variant)

Bitter dark chocolate (at least 58% cocoa solids) containing coffee and cola nut powder.

Ingredients: Cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, coffee (2.6%) milk powder, Colan powder (1.6%), emulsifier: Sunflower lecithin; aroma.

May contain traces of nuts, gluten and soy.

Contains caffeine (200 mg / 100 g).

Not recommended for children, pregnant or breast-feeding.

A varied diet, a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.
